The Narcotics Section is responsible for suppressing and investigating narcotic/dangerous drug-related crimes. This includes, but is not limited to arresting and prosecuting those involved in major narcotic offenses; including trafficking, manufacturing, smuggling, and clandestine lab activities.

The Narcotics Section is also involved in community outreach and education programs.
